We are experiencing a time of abundance as our ministry, church, and school family continues to grow! But, this blessing has created an urgent desire to improve and grow our facilities to better serve the needs of our church and school, while embracing our mission to connect to Jesus and others.

But seek first His kingdom
and His righteousness,
and all these things will
be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:33

Seek first HIS kingdom.

A NOTE FROM PASTOR GOFF

Greetings to the St. Michael family and fellow Kingdom Builders!

Our congregation and school continue to experience a time of abundance as our ministries thrive! This leads us to explore options to grow our facilities, better serving the needs of our members, students and staff.

HIS Kingdom First is a three-year spiritual and financial journey, giving us the resources to fulfill God’s vision for St. Michael and Emmanuel-St. Michael Lutheran School.

Please explore this resource over the next six weeks, using it to grow in knowledge of the HIS Kingdom First vision and spiritual maturity as we study some of the parables of Jesus.

Thank you for your continued commitment to the ministry we are a part of here at St. Michael. Please pray for the process and your faithful support leading up to Commitment Weekend, November 15-16, as we make our pledge toward the building project.

Join us as we connect to Jesus, each other and our community keeping our focus on HIS Kingdom First!

First Goal

Building Security and Space

The safety of our children is of utmost importance and having two entrances is no longer best practice. Having one entrance will allow us to show hospitality to all who enter our doors by greeting them in person. It will also allow for all visitors to be identified while promoting communication and collaboration between church and school.

Our school and church ministries are growing and we are in need of more office space, meeting spaces and music rooms. The music suite will provide additional practice rooms for our growing Academy of the Arts and provide a music room that will accommodate our musical ensembles.

Second Goal

Spiritual

We encourage you to pray and study God’s Word as we look for His will in this journey. We ask you to see how you can personally be involved in this campaign. We encourage you to bring your guidebook each week as we work through this six week sermon series and learn from the Parables of Jesus. This journey is not only about new building space, it is about everyone at St. Michael growing in our faith.

Third Goal

"Lord, Surprise Me"

During the season of Lent, we read the book ‘Draw the Circle’ by Mark Batterson. One devotion that stuck out to many of us was entitled “Lord, Surprise Me.” During the course of this building campaign, we encourage you to continue to pray “Lord, Surprise Me.” Surprise in what you can do through all of us as we work with God through prayer and the study of His Word as God works through His people here at St. Michael to Connect People to Jesus and Others.

Fourth Goal

Personal

This building campaign is going to take all of who call St. Michael home in order to be successful. Youth, family and adults will all be on this journey together in age appropriate ways. Sunday school and Bible Study will be looking at generosity and growing in faith during this journey. No gift is too small. We encourage you to pray and look for unique ways you can give to this campaign. Look at the Commitment Card and see how your gift can make an impact for His Kingdom first.

3 Year Giving Phase

Goal: $8.8 Million

We’re asking for your financial commitments over three years. Please prayerfully consider how you can support St. Michael above and beyond your weekly giving.

“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”

- Colossians 3:1-2
