Our Missionary Calling
Jesus said, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Matthew 28)
Following Jesus’ directive to His disciples, we at St. Michael continue to be His witnesses in our daily lives, in our neighborhoods and communities, and across the world. Engaging in mission work is not just an activity but a reflection of our commitment to being Christ’s hands and feet.

Engaging Our Neighbors
We believe in being missionaries in our own neighborhood. Through building relationships and inviting those we meet along the way to join us, we are meeting needs as we strive to connect people to Jesus.
- Prayer Walks & Picking Up Trash: We have a team that is monthly walking the apartments in our neighborhood to pray and pick up trash along the way.
- Invitational Events: We routinely offer and invite our neighbors to join us for family friendly events such as our Vacation Bible School, Back to School Clinic, Trunk-or-Treat, and more.

International Mission Efforts
Our mission extends beyond local and national boundaries, reaching to the ends of the earth. We support and engage in international missions to share Christ’s love worldwide.
- Global Mission Partnerships: We collaborate with international churches and organizations to spread the Gospel, including Liberia Children’s Network and Project 216.
- Supporting International Missionaries: We provide financial and prayer support to missionaries serving globally. We currently support Sarah & Nathan Federwitz, Lutheran Bible Translators in training.
