Caring for Your Little Ones
Nurturing Your Child’s Faith Journey
At St. Michael Lutheran Church, we believe that every child is a precious gift from God, and we’re dedicated to nurturing their faith alongside you. Our hope is to see children on fire for Jesus!
Nursery Services
For our youngest members, we offer a nurturing nursery during our Sunday morning services from 9:30 AM – 12 PM. Staffed by loving, trained individuals who have passed thorough background checks, our nursery is a safe and caring environment where your little ones can play and rest while you attend the service.
Children’s Church
Children are invited up for the Children’s Message in church. Once the children’s message is over, children ages 2-5 are invited to head to the back of the church where they will meet the teacher and go to children’s church. After their lesson is finished they’ll return to the back of the church where they can be picked up or walk back to their seats.
Engaging Activities for Children
We understand that sometimes children get the wiggles during service. That’s why we provide a packet of materials that is geared 100% towards children so they can still be engaged and connected. These activities are thoughtfully designed to foster learning and enjoyment, ensuring that church is a place your children look forward to visiting.

What is the vision for kids at St. Michael?
At St. Michael children will learn that they are loved, forgiven, and redeemed children of God. Our hope is that children will be on fire for Jesus! They will learn, praise, and share Jesus in everything they do.
Is there somewhere I can go to nurse my child?
In the back of the church we have some casual seating where anyone can sit to nurse or if families need a free space. If you would like a more private space we have a classroom you’re welcome to use. Simply ask an usher or someone at our connections desk and they will help you!
Will you contact me during the service if my child needs assistance?
While we do not have a mobile check in, we will be sure to find you during the service if your child is having a hard time.
Do all children's ministry volunteers receive background checks?
Yes! All volunteers over the age of 18 are required to pass a background check before being allowed to serve in the children’s ministry.
