Nearly every day we make financial decisions—some small, some large, and some that look toward the future. Perhaps one of the more challenging financial decisions involves identifying how much to give and who or what we want to give toward. We may ask ourselves, “If I give this away, will I have enough left for myself and my family?” But Scripture reminds us that everything we have comes first from the gracious hand of God. When we give, we are not simply making a financial choice—we are responding in faith. Giving is an act of trust, a way of placing God’s Kingdom first in our lives, and a spiritual discipline that shapes our hearts to rely on His provision.
