THE ST. MICHAEL FOUNDATION

Enhancing Our Mission, Outreach, and Ministry

About the Foundation

Established in 1971, the St. Michael Lutheran Church Foundation allows the church to enhance the mission, outreach and ministry of the Congregation. By using only a portion of the annual earnings of the Congregation’s Endowment Fund, the Fund continues to grow and provide a permanent source of income to support the Church’s Christian outreach with a variety of special ministry opportunities. The Foundation Board consists of the Pastor and six elected officers of the church.

Since 2006, the Foundation has made 100+ awards totaling over $90,000. These awards have gone to:

  • St. Michael programming, training, education, and ministry needs
  • World mission projects and mission trips
  • Vacation Bible School
  • Seminarian support
  • And more!

How it Works

Applying for Awards

The foundation accepts applications for funds in the first quarter of every year. Anyone can apply for an award for ministry and projects that connect people to Jesus. Award recipients are notified at the end of April. To learn more about the application process, contact the church office.
